The Baby Ghosts^{[note 1]} are characters that appear in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. They are a quartet of ghosts that live in a haunted mansion along with Lah, Su and Uh.

Appearance[]

They are four, small, white ghosts with one tooth and slightly differing faces. Their "brows" are furrowed differently, and they have differing eyes from each other.

History[]

Past[]

It is unknown where they came from and what circumstances led to them living with Lah, Su and Uh. They likely arrived to the Haunted Mansion after Sonic: Night of the Werehog. Given how much affection Lah gives them, they appear to be more than just visitors.

Ghost Tale[]

In Ghost Tale, Su and Uh and Lah were hanging out together in the Haunted Mansion. This night, they were joined by newcomers, the Baby Ghosts. Su and Uh were displaying their telekinesis and entertaining the five ghosts watching them. Uh showed off his control over the plate while Su showed off his lifting strength. The Baby Ghosts cheered at their performances. As the fought each other for the attention, the Baby Ghosts flew over to the floating items and played with the chair.

Lah saw how much fun the Baby Ghosts were having with the excitement. Spotting a piano, she tried to lifting it but of no avail. The Baby Ghost stopped playing and saw Lah getting increasingly sad. They empathized with her, as did Su and Uh. When the two 'older' ghosts lift the piano to brighten Lah's spirit, the Baby Ghost joined her and she flew around the piano, who in turned watched them have fun with the flying object. In the heat of the moment, they got together and shared a hug.

Later outside as the sun rose across the sky, the Baby Ghost joined Lah as she attempted herself to lift a tree.^[1]

Personality[]

They appear to be very playful and fun-loving, as they are seen with Lah laughing at Su and Uh lifting objects into the air.

Powers and abilities[]

Other than flight, they didn't display any of the older ghosts' abilities.

Relationships[]

Lah[]

The Baby Ghost relationship with Lah are unknown. They appear alongside her during the short, being entertain by Su and Uh's antics. They do care for her, as they feel bad when Lah breaks down in tears and quickly join her when she feels relieved.^[1]

Su and Uh[]

They seem to enjoy Su and Uh's antics during the short, as they are shown laughing along with various objects being flung in the air.
