Azure Lake Zone

The Azure Lake Zone is a location that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a Zone found on Angel Island.

Team Dark and a Tele-Pod controlled by Snively passed through Azure Lake Zone after landing on Angel Island in an attempt to reach and secure the Master Emerald before Eclipse the Darkling.^[1]

Later, following a disagreement between Knuckles the Echidna and Shadow the Hedgehog as to whether the Master Emerald should be relocated to keep it safe from the threat of Eclipse the Darkling, the pair ended up here during the course of their battle.^[2]

The Azure Lake Zone is based on the two-player racing stage from Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
