Danny Cormay was the quarterback for the Smallville Crows, the football team of Smallville High School.
Season Four[]
During football practice at Smallville High School, Danny's girlfriend Mandy gave him a sports drink infused with meteor rock-laced love potion which made him want to hang out with her. He left the field and went to the showers. When assistant coach Jason Teague tried to stop him, he told him that he was going shopping with Mandy. Jason watched Mandy with a bewildered expression, and Danny got jealous and asked: "You checking out my girlfriend, buddy?"
When Jason later was alone in the locker room, Danny attacked him with a shotgun. Jason tried to talk to him, but Danny said: "It's too late, coach. You shouldn't have hit on my girl." Jason finally was was saved by Clark Kent, who used his heat vision to heat up the gun until Danny dropped it. By the heat, Danny was cured from the potion's influence.
Danny was treated at the Smallville Medical Center for burns and recovered from his injuries in time to play in the next football game. However, Clark kept his position on the team as starting quarterback for the rest of the season.
