- “He's cuckoo for clobbering.”
- —Villain Vault
Cuckoo Clocker is a cuckoo bird who is one of the Life villains in Skylanders: Trap Team. He was summoned by Chef Pepper Jack in Phoenix Psanctuary to battle the Skylanders. Despite his impressive strength and power, he eventually succumbed to the Skylanders and was trapped.
Abilities
As a trappable villain, Cuckoo Clocker performs a slow but powerful overhead smash that does high damage in a small area in front of him. Holding the main attack button will charge up the smash, exponentially increasing the damage and increasing the area of effect, but will prevent him from moving or turning while charging.
Cuckoo Clocker’s secondary attack emits sound waves that while do minimal damage, can stun enemies in a cone-shaped area for a short time.
During his boss fight, he only uses his overhead smash attack, though as he is bigger in size, the area of the smash is larger too. Jumping will help evade the smash zone.

Trivia
- He, Grave Clobber and Hood Sickle are the only villains summoned by a Doom Raider.
- Of these three, he is the only one who doesn't become a Sensei.
- His fully charged smash attack does an insane 1,870 damage, and is capable of one-shoting every regular enemy in the game except for Cyclops Dragons and Woodensteins. The damage from this is so ridiculous that it can one or two shot almost every single one of the non-Doom Raider bosses in trap team. A fully charged critical hit smash attack does an absurd 2,480 damage, and even Cyclops Dragons and Woodensteins will fall to it instantly. Because of this attack, Cuckoo Clocker holds the record for the most damage a villain can do in a single attack, but Elite Trigger Happy narrowly pips him to the record for most damage any playable character in the series can do in a single attack.
- His Trap Quote, "Guess it's bye bye birdie...!!" is a play on the play, "Bye Bye Birdie".
- Sometime during production of Skylanders: Trap Team, Cuckoo Clocker was originally going to be accompanied by a smaller blue bird.[1]
- He is mentioned in the Skylanders Academy episode Return to Cynder.
- Cuckoo Clocker's name is based on Cuckoo clock.
