Good Monday morning......
The first picture is of a little box purse I made from a tutorial that I found at Carolina's . To be honest I truly love this little purse as you are able to alter it to make it bigger and still just use one sheet of 12x12 paper ;P.
Recipe:
K&Company DP sorry can't remember the name as it was a loose piece I had laying around
Prima flowers, Dew Drops and River Rock grosgrain ribbon from Ribbons And Bows Oh My.
Isn't that a cute little bag? It is so very quick to make too even for a beginner, like my neighbor. She really loved this one and was wondering if I could make this into a bigger bag. Well, needless to say that I gave it a try right after she had left and this is what I came up with. Since it is pretty big 9" wide and 4.5" high and 2" deep I used an entire 12x12 sheet of DP and had the idea of making it into a closed purse, so I added an additional piece of CS in a coordinating color and this is the result
The 12x12 piece for this purse was scored at 5", 7" on one side. I turned it and scored on the other side at 1.5" and 10.5".
After assembling the bag I added the separate piece of cs after scoring it at 1" and 1 1/4". For the flap I simply cut off the corners on an angle. I attached the 1" part to the back of the bag and punched 2 holes into the 1/2 " part ad threaded ribbon trhough for the handle. If there is any interest on having more details on this bag, I'll get more detailed instructions together.
Aren't those cute? This last bag actually holds quite a lot of stuff and is IMHO is much nicer and personal than a store bought gift bag.
All right, that was the playing around stuff I also have a Birthday card I made for one of the ladies at church.
I got to use some of my new PTI cs, well, it has been around for a while, but I never had ordered it until now. It is called Rustic Cream and is a lot like the SU confetti white paper, but heavier ;D.
Have a look at my last minute Birthday card
Recipe:
Paper: PTI Rustic Cream, SU Close to Cocoa, K&Company K-Ology DP, SU Pretty in Pink
Stamps: SU Elegant Cheer
Ink: SU Close to Cocoa, Chalk Box Creamy Brown to age the edges of the Pretty in Pink layer behind the DP.
Accessories: Nesties Labels 3, chocolate satin ribbon, Prima roses from the Fairy Tale Collection, pink Dew Drops, foam tape, dimensionals
Isn't this a cute little card? The elderly lady I gave it to absolutely loved it. She was so excited that I thought of her, but you know what, it was more rewarding for me, as I was able to put a smile on her face. She had lost her daughter who was younger than I am, while we were in Japan.
All right, this is it for now. Thank you so very much for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day,

Hi there.....
I guess what I am trying to say is, that even with those little things that happen when you have children, Therapy, always helps, plus you get to make someone else's day in the progress.
So, here are the 2 cards I got done during my Therapy session ;P
Girly girl card, create in me.........
Recipe:
Paper: PTI White, SU Pretty in Pink, Basic Grey Eva pad
Stamp: Verve Plain Jane Psalm 51:10
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, for the sponging of the edges Su Certainly Celery, VersaColor Orchid
Accessories: Nesties scalloped circles, Standard Circles Large, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Basic Grey button, Prima Daisy Doodles in Candy Pink, pink half pearls, white grosgrain ribbon, pink sheer ribbon, Heirloom Keepsakes Vintage Collection small heart button, Schimmerz Blingz in Pink Poinsettia (for the butterfly), dimensionals, foam tape, double sided tape
So, what do you think about this girly girl card? This is for a teenage girl who just got in some trouble recently and her aunt (a friend of mine) wants to let her know that she cares about her and that God can help you, if you let HIM!!!
On to my second card, well, this one is a masculine one, and just like the one above this one was made with a special person in mind, another teenager, who is being lost out there in this big world! I tell ya, Satan sure is trying hard to destroy our Youth.
I know the plans I have for you............
Recipe:
Paper: PTI White, True Black, Basic Grey Granola pad
Stamp: Verve Jeremiah 29:11
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, SU Close to Cocoa
Accessories:
Nesties rectangles, Basic Grey Granola buttons, Jute cord from Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Ribbon Store, Tim Holtz Distressing tool, light blue saddle stitched grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals, foam tape
A pretty simple card, but this scripture has so much power to it. I sure hope that this young man gets this understanding and turns his life around.
Well, that is it for now!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I sure had fun creating today and I hope you'll have fun looking at them ;D.
See you all later.

Thanks so much to EVERYBODY who left a comment, they are all so very much appreciated.
That is it for tonight, gotta go and give my family dinner now.
Hugs,
Happy Monday morning.....
To give you the basic directions here is what you'll need:
Cardstock of your choice cut to 6"x11".
Now on to the scoring on the LONG (11") side score at 2,5,7,10
turn your cs to the SHORT (6") side and score at 2" and 4 ".
This is a very sturdy box and holds 9 Ghirardelli chocolates or 15 and more little Dove Bliss chocolates with no problem.
For the handles I simply cut a piece of ribbon 10" long and fold in 1/2", to make it a clean edge, punched a hole with my punch added a small brad and attached it to the box.
To make the top flap of the box a little more sturdy I cut a piece of DP to 3"x3", scored it at 1" and cut the edge with some scalloped scissors and adhered it to the top of the flap. To keep my flap closed I added a small magnet closure and decorated a little.
Have a look.
Recipe:
Paper: PTI True Black, Basic Grey Boxer
PTI Vintage Cream
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Chalk Box Burtn Sienna
Accessories: Primas different flowers in orange, SU hardware, Making Memories silver brads, black satin ribbon, silver half pearls, Nesties Labels 4
If you have any questions about this box, feel free to contact me. I'll try to get a tutorial together for better understanding. I am a visual person myself, so I think it will be a little easier to understand having pictures ;P.
I was so excited about this little box that I just had to show it to you all :D.
Thanks for stopping by this morning and make sure, if you have not done so, to sign up for the Blog Candy I am offering for Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply Birthday Party. I will pick a winner tonight at 6:00pm Mountain time!!!!!!

Oh my goodness.....
I have a little something for you all today as well. I found out the other day that a young lady at our church has been pretty sick and I decided to take the time and sit down a make a card for her to let her know that I am thinking of her. She is pretty quiet and not really a people person, but never the less I wanted to send her a little pick me up card and this is what I came up with.
Thinking of You
Recipe:
Paper: PTI White, Basic Grey Ambrosia
Stamp: Inkadinkado (I am not sure but I think it's the Occasion set)
Ink: Chalk Box Creamy Brown, SU Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Nesties Labels 1, Prima Hydrangeas from the Deep Woods Collection, Dew Drops Sunflower Mix, off white sheer ribbon from my stash
As you can see it is a pretty simple card, but I hope that the happy colors will cheer her up a little.
Since I was done so fast with this card I just had to do another one ;P, you all know what I am talking about, right? When you have a chance of sitting at your table and you accomplish something pretty quick you just keep going :D:D.
You might remember that I received some new Verve stamps last week and so I decided to reach into my Verve box and get going on a card that had Hebrews 11:1 on it. You all know that scripture, right?
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen".
See for me this is a very powerful scripture and reminding me, that even if you can't see the end of the tunnel yet, it is there. Plus, it is a pretty good card to have on hand for someone that is going through.
Faith...............
Recipe:
Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, K&Company Roam (found it on sale the other day at Joann ;D)
Stamp: Verve Plain Jane Hebrews 11:1
Ink: Su Chocolate Chip, Chalk Box Creamy Brown
Accessories: ZvaCreative.com crystal flourish, Prima Hydrangeas, Nesties Petite Oval Large, off white satin ribbon, half pearls, antique copper cross charm from Expressions of Faith, foam tape, dimensionals
What do you think? It's not a fancy card or anything, but I sure got my dose of Therapy in. I am pretty happy about that, plus I was able to share a little something with you all.
Off I go to get some chores done. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you all after the weekend.

Hi all.....
Things to do.......
Recipe:
Paper: SU Creamy Caramel, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Scrapperdashery(which is part of the KIT!!!)
Stamps: Make Note
Ink: Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Tea Dye, Memento Rich Cocoa, Su Creamy Caramel, Chalk Box Creamy BrownAccessories: Tim Holtz Distressing tool (love that little thing :D) 1 1/8" + 1 3/8 circle punch (the circle on the stamp sheet actually are only 1", but I did not have that punch ;D) and a small pen I bought at the $-Spot at Target which cam in a pack of 6. Heidi Swapp Journaling Spot and felt butterfly
Have I told you that this stamp sheet "Make Note" has a total of 41 stamps on it? Yep, that is a lot of stamps!!
I also have a card for you all and this card was done with the new stamp sheet "Odd Findings" really fun set as well. For this card I stamped some of the different stamps directly on the DP like the Fleur de Lis and the key to give the DP a little more detail. I also used some really cool little findings, like the frame, a tiny key and memory capsule. The only image that I colored on this card is that little butterfly inside the frame and capsule. I did that to make it stand out a little more.
Unlock ...special delivery.....
Recipe:
Paper: SU Confetti White, Scrapperdashery
Stamps: Odd Findings
Ink: Tim Holtz Distressing Ink Old paper for the script stamp I used on the DP, chalk box Creamy Brown for distressing and the Fleur de Lis, SU Close to Cocoa to stamp the key and Fleur de Lis on the background DP, Chalk Box Dark Brown was used to stamp the words "special delivery" on the tag
Accessories: Su oval punch, Nesties Megabilities curved rectangles, Ranger Memory capsule and frame, braiding cord, mini key from 7 Gypsies, Adirondack markers in Butterscotch and Terra Cotta to color in the butterfly, foam tape and dimensionals.
As you can see I had to go outside of my comfort zone for this one, but it was fun to be challenged and think outside the box for a change :D:D.So, do you like all of those cool things I have been working with? Check this out. This is the Kit Betsy has put together for us and she is sharing a few of them with you all, for a special price.

It's Wednesday and day 2 of the ISC sneak peeks...
Bush Flower
Recipe:
Paper: PTI Kraft and white, Scrapperdashery DP
Stamp: Bush Flower(which will be available on Thursday 13.August 2009)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, VersaMagic Niagara Mist, Chalk Box Creamy Brown
Accessories: Adirondack markers in Meadow and Butterscotch, Marvy Opaque Stix marker in white, Nesties Megabilities curved rectangles, Nesties labels 4, the sentiment "feel Better" was colored directly on the stamp and then stamped on white cs, sheer old olive ribbon from the Stamp Simply Ribbon store
Doesn't that image look cool? I truly like the way this Opaque Stix marker makes this flower look so real. Want to see the inside? Well, I could not just leave the inside naked, so I used the smallest of the flower stamps on stamped it on the inside
and to not just stamp on the Kraft cs I added the Scrapperdashery DP as well, and stamped the small flower directly on it and colored it in the same fashion as the image on the outside. The large curved rectangle was sponged on the edges with Chalk Box Creamy Brown to make it a little more blend with the distressed feel of the DP.
What do you think? Do you like this stamp set?
If you do, you'll have to wait just one more day, yep that is it. One more day and to make it more interesting to you we are giving you a special discount, but you'll have to come back tomorrow to find out the code for it :D:D:D:D. Hello there my blogging friends....
The first card I'd like to share with you all is more Vintage than anything else, but I wanted to use some Kraft cs with some of a scrap of K&Company Ancestry paper I had laying on my table. Not a lot of embellishments, which was kind of a hard thing for me, because I LOVE embellishments, but I think it works and even can be mailed in a regular envelope and not a over sized bubble one :D:D.
Create in me.......
Recipe:
Paper: PTI Kraft, K&Company Ancestry
Stamps: Verve Notes of Prayer for the cross, Plain Jane stamp Psalm 51:10
Ink: SU Close to Cocoa, Chalk Box Creamy Brown for the sponging of the edges, Versa Craft Sand to stamp the cross on the DP
Accessories:
Nesties Labels 2, half pearls, crystals and some awesome cluny lace in ecru I found at Joann's yesterday for only 25 cents /yard.
I love this scripture and wanted to focus more on the scripture than on all of the embellishments so what do you think, does it pass?
All right, let me tell you a little about the second card. This card is a little more masculine. Last week Korin over at Sweet and Sassy stamps had a blow-out sale and I bought a few, yeah, like I don't have enough of the Basic Grey pads already :D:D:D, and one of them was the Boxer one. Every time I wanted to buy this pad before it was out of stock, so I was happy, really happy when I was able to get it and on SALE for that matter. At my shopping trip to Joanne's yesterday I was browsing around the store when I've noticed that they had changed a lot of things around and they actually had an entire section with tons of Scrapbook and Jewelry making supplies on CLEARANCE. So you already know that the girl had to stroll down those isles with my 4 y.o. in the shopping cart, when I saw these fun little Faith based charms and they were only 97 cents!!!! They had them in a silver finish and in aged copper (love the look of aged copper :D:D:D) so I had to grab a few of each. Oh, I forgot to tell you they had like 8 or 10 charms in a package, so that was really a great deal there.
To make a long story short I bought tons of stuff since they had their 66 years founders day sale going on, but please, please don't tell my husband, he thinks I am going overboard with this card making thing. Men, I tell ya, they have no idea. I always tell him it is much cheaper than Therapy,LOL!!!!!
What do you think about this little more masculine card?I lift up my eyes......... Psalm 121:1-2
Recipe:
Paper: SU Chocolate Chip, Bazzill Vanilla textured, Basic Grey Archaic
Stamp: Verve Plain Jane Psalm 121:1-2
Ink: SU Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Nesties Labels 2, Expressions of Faith bible charm green grosgrain ribbon, narrow brown satin ribbon, tiny buttons from a grab-bag from Walmart, foam tape, double sided tape, dimensionals
Does this one pass as a masculine card? I am always having a little of a hard time with those, so I am happy when I get some DP pads that have both feminine and masculine papers in it.
I am not done yet, I have another one for ya!!!!!
Yep that makes three cards in one post. Yeah, I am finally catching for not posting in a while. :D:D:D.
As you can imagine since I had ordered a few stamps from Verve I had to use them, so one more for today, but there is always tomorrow, when I can show you the rest of them {rolls eyes}!!!!
I have admired this Meditations Set from Verve for a long time, but was not sure if I really needed it. Well, yes, I do NEED it, because this scripture "Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be ACCEPTABLE in your sight, o Lord, my strength and my redeemer" Psalm 19:14
I don't know about you, but there are times when I get really upset and sometimes I just say what is on my mind without thinking about it. Well, to say the least I have upset myself and hurt probably more people than I ever would want to admit, especially before I got saved, 16 years ago, but to this day I try to think before I speak (does not work all the time, but I am working on it) and not say anything that will offend or hurt anybody in any way. This scripture is the PERFECT reminder and I myself think I'll make a little tag or something to put in my car, purse, wallet, refrigerator or anywhere I might need it, so I can be a better person and remind myself. It is a work in progress and I personally don't think that this work is done in this lifetime, but I want to make sure that I get a spot up in heaven and that my name is written in that big book that assures just that. Sorry, did not mean to preach to you all ;D.
So here is my third and final card for now.
Let the words of my mouth.........
Recipe:
Paper: PTI white, True Black, Basic Grey Boxer
Stamp: Verve Meditations Psalm 19:14
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
Accessories:
black textured ribbon, Nesties Large Labels, silver half pearls from Michael's, Foam Tape, double sided tape
If you can see it in the close-up I kind of curled the flower pedals a little and I think it makes them a little more alive.
How do you like this one? Was I able to give you guys some eye candy today or what? :D:D:D:D
Thank you all for taking the time to stop by today. I am not sure if I will be able to upload anything this weekend, so just in case I don't, I wish all of you a wonderful and relaxing weekend.
Hugs,

Hello there......
I am a very big sucker for scripture stamps and inspirational stamp and I have been looking at ODBD stamps for quite some time but never ordered. Don't ask me why, because I really don't have an answer. So, last week I took the plunge and ordered one and it is not even a scripture stamp, it is the Serenity prayer. I love the way there stamps come in a clear box and the way the stamp. I did not even have to condition the stamp I went straight to the paper.
have a look and see when ODBD stamp hits Parisian Breeze :D
