Sky Scorcher introduces our new home fireworks system! Bulls eye launch pad insures perfect rocket-to-azimuth alignment, while the recently declassified, military-grade, Speed-FRK propellant insures [sic] consistent attitude...and fun! Invite your friends to watch...if they don't invite themselves!!!

In The Sims: Livin' Large, the Sky Scorcher Fireworks Kit can be bought in Buy mode for §90. It is a rocket on a stand, which Sims can fire for fun. When fired, the rocket will rise into the air, then come back to ground and explode. The rocket can start a fire if it hits something flammable, and will start a fire if it is used indoors.

If the players launch the rocket and pause just before it lands on the ground, the players can grab the rocket in Buy mode with the moveobjects cheat. The rocket will be named as "*Toy Rocket - Down/Explosion" and can be sold for §2,300. This can only be done if the rocket is headed downwards towards the ground and not when it has just been launched.

The Sims 3[]

Fireworks can be bought at Shang Simla Market for §75 or the grocery store in home neighborhoods. Fireworks can also be purchased via the buydebug cheat. Sims can light them and then gather to watch firework displays, where they will clap and cheer. A display involving five or more packets of fireworks will result in the Saw Great Fireworks Show moodlet, offering a mood boost of +10 for 16 hours. If a Sim lights fireworks in a graveyard, they will awaken some ghosts and sometimes get Simoleons for entertaining them.

A wide varieties of fireworks are included in various expansion packs, including World Adventures, Seasons, Katy Perry's Sweet Treats, and the Toyota Prius Pack from the Store.

Similar to The Sims: Livin' Large, if fireworks are set off indoors, a fire will start. This can be an effective way to kill off other Sims, as the Sim lighting the fireworks will generally run away before they go off. Fireworks are best viewed from Map View.

DigiBlast shows[]

DigiBlast fireworks show Sunlit Tides

A DigiBlast show over Sunlit Tides[TS3:SE].

In The Sims 3: Into the Future, player Sims can go to Oasis Landing's city hall to request that a "DigiBlast Show", a fireworks show, be held at 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, or 22:00 that same night, for a cost of §100. During that show, cubed digitalized fireworks will be sent up from the middle of the city hall and into the sky.

Sims can also request DigiBlast Shows from all other city hall rabbit hole buildings. A glitch makes it possible to schedule a DigiBlast Show in a multi-purpose rabbit hole but not be able to actually watch the show, as the Sim will complain about routing errors when being told to watch the show, resulting in the player Sim having spent §100 for nothing.

The Sims 4[]

Firework batteries, individual fireworks, spinners and sparklers can be found at almost every San Myshuno festival in The Sims 4: City Living, and can be bought from merchandise stalls. They can also be bought directly in build mode using the debug cheat (bb.showHiddenObjects), and a few fireworks can be bought using the "Order..." > "Purchase Fireworks..." option on computers.

Individual fireworks come in three styles: Mortar, Spark Fountain and Roman Candle. The firework theme also depends on the festival the firework came from, indicated by the object's name and color. The themes available are GeekCon, Humor and Hijinks Festival, Romance Festival, Spice Festival, and White Wedding. White Wedding fireworks can only be purchased on computers and are not available at festivals. Conversely, the festival themed fireworks cannot be purchased on computers.

Placing multiple fireworks next to each other will make them all fire when a Sim lights one of them. Sims will then gather around and excitedly watch the show until it's over. A lit firework can also be stopped early by extinguishing it. Like previous games, setting off fireworks indoors will start a fire.
