Therapy hounds[edit]

Therapy Hounds

Therapy Hounds are sent by Mr. Burns to comfort Homer after his failed speech.[2]

Trivia[edit]

Dobermanns are not hounds, but Pinscher. In another of Mr. Burns' anachronisms hound in Old English was the word for all domestic canines. Dog was just used to refer to a subgroup of hounds, but over 7 centuries later the opposite is now true. Releasing of the hounds remains associated with fox hunting.
