Contractio est actus vocabulorum imminuendorum qui praesto est Anglice, Francogallice, Theodisce, et in multis aliis linguis.
Anglica verba immuenda fiat per utundum apostrophae. Exemplum in lingua Anglica est contractio verborum I (ego) ac have (habeo/teneo) ut verbum I've constituat, etiam constituat? verbum e tribus vocabulis, sicut I'd've et shouldn't've.
