A leg brace is any implement, often used in pairs, but sometimes alone, which is placed on the leg of a human in order to support them, often to walk, or to hold the area in place when a bone of the area has been fractured. They are often made out of plastic. Metal was used for a long time prior to the invention of plastic, but is now not used anymore.
