An independent record label is a company which musicians can use to make and sell records. These companies are different from major record labels because they are smaller and don't operate under any major businesses.

Examples

Some examples of independent record labels are:

  • Ambush Reality, which is owned and run by the members of the band Enter Shikari and their friends.[1]
  • Super Records, which is owned by the band McFly[source?]
