SAINT-PETERSBURG - SOCHI

10 – 18 of September 2010

Second edition of the Silk Way Rally completely passed on the territory of Russia: started in Saint-Petersburg, then passed through Leningrad, Novgorod, Smolensk, Lipetsk, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions, continued in Kalmykia and Adygea, then finished in Sochi, attracting the international community to the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics.

Crew of Carlos Sainz won their second consecutive victory. In the ranking of the trucks, the strongest was once again the crew of «Kamazmaster», but already led by Eduard Nikolaev, who was able to beat the Dutch Gerard de Roy and Czech Alesh Lopreis, the second and third places occupied by the crews of Vladimir Chagin and Firdaus Kabirov, respectively.
