Federal Army of Chorus Outpost 37 is a Fed compound occupied by the Federal Army of Chorus, first appearing in the episode Thin Ice. The outpost is located in a snowy area of Chorus.
Role in Plot[]
After being captured by the Federal Army, Sarge, Washington, Donut, and Lopez were eventually taken here as captives. Weeks later, Tucker, Grif, Simmons, and Caboose infiltrate the outpost and manage to "rescue" their four comrades. They do so by melting an entrance into the base and distracting the federal soldiers by shooting a pipe. However, when the captains reunite with their friends, Washington reveals that they have joined the Federal Army because they discovered that the Feds are not an evil tyranny and that they see the New Republic as terrorists.
As the Blood Gulch Crew conclude they could end the war peacefully by having the leaders of each faction (General Doyle and Kimball) meet to discuss a truce, the outpost is attacked by Locus and the Space Pirates, who kill nearly all the inhabitants. After Felix arrives, he reveals his loyalty with the mercenaries and their manipulation with the factions to the Reds and Blues. However, before the Space Pirates can kill the Blood Gulch Crew, Carolina rescues them and Dr. Grey by using a Teleportation Grenade to teleport them to the Forest Base.
Trivia[]
- The compound is represented by the Halo 4 map "Longbow".
- As of Cloak and Dagger, Emily Grey is the only known survivor who was stationed at F.A.C. Outpost 37.
