HemboHero (real name James Chung) was a Rooster Teeth community member and video editor, known for posting compilations on his YouTube channel of amusing moments from various Rooster Teeth projects, titled "How-do-words-good".
HemboHero left the community in November 2021 following a major controversy, where he posted a video criticizing Ky Cooke relating a story about shoplifting a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, claiming he refused to include her in any more compilations as he condemned shoplifting. The controversy stemmed partly from the video's stark difference from any of his previous content, but also due to the apparent hypocrisy of targeting Ky when various other members of Rooster Teeth had admitted to similar, if not worse, transgressions of the law – notably, several users noted that HemboHero did not make a similar declaration following the Ryan Haywood controversy. HemboHero was criticized by various members of the community as well as Rooster Teeth staff members, including Michael Jones and Trevor Collins, on social media. He initially privated all of his videos, but eventually reposted them with a message that he was leaving the community.
