Daniel Fabelo is a former employee of Rooster Teeth. He co-wrote and co-directed Lazer Team 2 with Matt Hullum, directed Immersion and Day 5, has done audio work for RWBY (which he also edited) and X-Ray and Vav, and edited various live-action videos for both RT and Achievement Hunter.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Radio-Television-Film, he has worked on many projects outside of Rooster Teeth as well: He was an Assistant Director to Sean Gallagher on his feature, Good Night and a Post-Production Assistant on the CW's Melrose Place 2.0 in Los Angeles.
He has also worked with local musicians such as Amanda Cevallos, Guns of Navarone, and Mother Falcon on promotional videos or music videos.
On September 12, 2019, he announced that he was laid off by RT.
Biography[]
Originally from Austin, Texas & the son of Puerto Rican and Cuban parents, Daniel Fabelo has a unique upbringing and developed a desire to enter the film world at a young age. Beginning as an editor with Rooster Teeth Productions in 2013, Daniel soon became a writer-director focused on elevating his genre work with highly cinematic visuals and branded storytelling.
In 2017, Daniel co-wrote/directed the sci-fi comedy feature Lazer Team 2 for Rooster Teeth and YouTube Premium. Daniel has also co-created Haunter, a half-hour comedy and parody of classic paranormal ghost-hunting shows which involves antagonizing spirits. His other works include the hit online show Immersion, which aired a special Shark Week Special in 2019, documentary shorts and work on the Rooster Teeth drama, Day 5.
