The Cyclops Recon pod was a Zentraedi Fleet spy ship during the First Robotech War. It had an escape pod, self-destruct mechanism, and was defended by missiles. It could also carry additional mecha. (Robotech: The Macross Saga)
In one reality of the Protoverse, they were used by the Defense Force 10 years after the end of the war. (Robotech: Remix)
