Totally Buffed was a professional wrestling tag team in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) composed of Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell.

History[]

"Totally Buffed" formed in late 2000 when Buff Bagwell and "The Total Package" Lex Luger joined forces after a short feud against each other to both take on Bill Goldberg. Together they were arrogant, constantly talking about their physiques and running down opponents and fans whenever given time on the microphone.

Their feud with Goldberg eventually ended his WCW career when, at Sin, they defeated him and DeWayne Bruce in a match and Goldberg was (kayfabe) forced to leave WCW per the match stipulation.

After getting Goldberg fired, they joined Ric Flair's Magnificent Seven heel stable and feuded with KroniK and The Insiders.

In March 2001, they started a feud with WCW World Tag Team Champions Sean O'Haire and Chuck Palumbo but were unable to win the titles before WCW was purchased by the World Wrestling Federation later that month. The team dissolved when Bagwell went to the WWF in the purchase and Luger did not.

The team reunited for one match in World Wrestling All-Stars in 2002, Universal Championship Wrestling in 2004 and one final independent wrestling show in Oklahoma in 2006.

Along with Rick Steiner, both members of Totally Buffed appeared as "mystery opponents" for Jeff Jarrett to face alongside Sting at the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) pay-per-view Sacrifice. However, neither man wrestled when Jarrett declined and ended up facing Samoa Joe. Luger and Bagwell have since made appearances together on TNA programming as faces helping old friend Sting in his quest to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.
