Tasha Steelz (April 3, 1988) is an American professional wrestler of Puerto Rican descent currently signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). Since 2015, Steelz wrestles on the independent circuit during which she became a two-time Chaotic Wrestling Women's Champion and a one-time Independent Wrestling Federation Women's Champion.
Professional wrestling career[]
Early career (2016-2017)[]
Steelz began her professional wrestling training in her homestate of New Jersey in Kevin Knight's Independent Wrestling Federation (IWF). She debuted in 2015 and went on to win her first title on April 4, 2016 at IWF's 19th Annual LOUD n PROUD event, defeating opponents Erin Winter and Michele Dee in a three-way elimination match to win the vacant IWF Women's Championship. During 2016 and 2017, Steelz wrestled in the eastern and northeastern promotions including East Coast Wrestling Association, Excellence Professional Wrestling, BriiCombination Wrestling, New York Wrestling Connection, Women's Wrestling Revolution and RISE among others.
Ring Of Honor (2017–2019)[]
After wrestling dark matches in 2017, Steelz made her televised debut in 2018 on the September 15 episode of ROH Proving Grounds, losing a match against Sumie Sakai. The following year, Steelz returned on March 31 during the fourth and final night of the 2019 ROH Road To G1 Supercard event. On that night, Steelz teamed with Kris Statlander in a three-way tag match defeating teams Gabby Ortiz & Karissa Rivera and Jenny Rose & Sumie Sakai. She returned to television on the July 13 episode of ROH where she won a four-way Number One Contender match for the ROH Women's World Championship, defeating Angelina Love, Jenny Rose and Stella Grey. On July 21 at Mass Hysteria Steelz won a three-way match defeating Angelina Love and Karissa Rivera.
Steelz wrestled her final ROH match on August 9 at the 2019 Summer Supercard event where she lost against the defending Women Of Honor World Champion Kelly Klein in a title match.
Chaotic Wrestling (2018–2019)[]
Steelz debuted on August 24, 2018 at Summer Chaos losing a title match against the reigning CW Women's Champion Skylar. Three months later on November 16 at Breaking Point Steelz defeated Skylar in a title rematch to win the Women's Championship for the first time. Steelz's second reign began after the title was vacated on November 22, 2019. On that date, Steelz won the title for the second time after defeating Alisha Edwards.
Impact Wrestling (2019–present)[]
After she signed her first contract with a major promotion, Steelz made her Impact Wrestling debut in 2019 during the May 17 episode of iMPACT! competing in a Knockout Battle Royal won by Glenn Gilbertti. Steelz returned the following year in 2020 on the May 12 episode of iMPACT!, losing a match against Kylie Rae. On July 18 at Slammiversary XVIII, Steelz competed in a Number One Contender Gauntlet Match for the Impact Knockouts Championship. She finished the month with a tag match on the July 21 episode of iMPACT! teaming with Kiera Hogan, losing to Jessicka Havok & Nevaeh by disqualification.
