History[]
Curt Hennig & Scott Hall began teaming in the American Wrestling Association (AWA) in 1985. On January 18, 1986, Hennig & Hall defeated Jimmy Garvin & Steve Regal to win the AWA World Tag Team Championship. They defended the championship multiple times including at WrestleRock 86 when they defeated The Long Riders (Bill Irwin & Scott Irwin). By the end of 1986 they stopped teaming together to focus on singles careers but did team together again in 1998 while they were both members of the nWo in World Championship Wrestling (WCW).
