Title changes[]

May

23: Frank Gotch defeats Tom Jenkins in Kansas City, Missouri to win his second American Freestyle title. Jenkins' first fall win over Gotch would be the last fall he ever took over the champion.

November

19: Clarence Weber takes the Australian heavyweight title by beating Buttan Singh in Melbourne. He would retire with the championship in 1915.

December

1: Fred Beell stuns Frank Gotch by capturing the American Freestyle title in New Orleans, LA.

17: Frank Gotch wins a third American Freestyle championship by easily defeating Fred Beell in Kansas City, MO.
