Whitney (ビアンカ Bianka, Bianca) is the supporting heroine of the Japanese exclusive film Animal Crossing: The Movie (Gekijouban Doubutsu no Mori). She is one of Ai's good friends since the latter moved to Animal Village. She is implied to be in a relationship with Apollo.
Personality[]
Unlike her game counterpart where she has a snooty personality, Whitney's personality in the movie is toned down to which she is more of a sophisticated lady who is willing to give advice to other girls on life and how to be more ladylike. She is also empathetic to others such as when she helps console Ai, whose friend Margie moved away to pursue her dream of becoming a fashion designer.
Appearance[]
Whitney is a beautiful humanoid white wolf with light grey shades on her fur, primarily her cheeks, feet, and tail. Her dress is purple with daisies on it.
Description[]
Whitney first meets Ai when she took up delivery duty for Tom Nook. Whitney provides Ai with advice to be more of a "polished lady" and winks, to which an awed Ai blushes as she delivers her package. Ai later muses on how beautiful she was. When chatting with Rosie and Margie at the beach, Ai learns, via rumor, that the cranky villager, Apollo, could have possibly been dating Whitney, though Margie shuts it down and tells her that it's not right to spread rumors of personal matters. Whitney is also seen attending the Fireworks Festival where she wears a kimono like the other villagers. Later on, when Margie moves away to pursue her dream, a depressed Ai walks to The Roost to have some coffee for her troubles where she consoles Ai, saying to believe in herself; and her bond with Margie shall never fade. She also compares how a woman's bond and a relationship differs, and no matter what she does, it will never return to what she loved and cared about. During the winter season, when Gulliver's UFO crash lands, Whitney appears garbed in winter clothing and offers to search for a UFO part near the ocean. After Ai is given credit from a small alien life form through a constellation, she starts feeling like a true citizen of Animal Village. During the film's staff credits, Whitney can be seen receiving blue roses, most likely from Apollo.
