Milton Dyer is one of the recurring characters in LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He is a former programmer at Vast Industries. He created many classic video games such as Lava Zombies, Conic the Ratboy, Counter and Turbo Street Brawler. His favorite game was Prime Empire, which he believed was magical and a gateway to another world. He servers as the supporting character of both Season 12: Prime Empire and its tie-in short film series Prime Empire Original Shorts, a mentioned character in Season 13: Master of the Mountain, a cameo character in Season 14: Seabound and a minor character in Season 15: Crystalized.
In the first test subject, Dyer Island, Scott was trapped in the Prime Empire during testing of the game. With Scott's disappearance, Milton Dyer was forced to cancel the game by Vast Industries and retire. When Ninja visited his private island and talked to the intern Bob, they deduced that Milton Dyer was Unagami, the ruler of the Prime Empire. Finding Dyer himself after P.I.X.A.L, they both find out that Unagami is the game itself. Ultimately, Unagami succeeds in creating the Gate of Manifestation in search of Dyer. Jay and Dyer meet with Unagami at the top of Borg Tower, eventually making amends, and Unagami frees everyone and the NPCs hitherto trapped within the Prime Empire.
Background[]
As a child, Milton frequented Buddy's Pizza, where he aspired to become a video game designer. The decision disappointed my parents, but they accepted it nonetheless. Milton eventually became the president of Vast Industries, where he and his intern Bob lived on an isolated island full of booby traps. He had plans for some other games, such as Fist to Face 4 and Ukulele Legend, but Prime Empire was his favorite. After he finished making the game, he eventually made a video about Prime Empire, but in the middle of the video Flash showed up and went to check it out.
During the Prime Empire beta test, Milton Dyer brought in a gamer named Scott to test the game. Milton went out for a bit, but when he returned, Scott was gone and Unagami was back. After the game ended, he was sent to the Prime Empire. This caused Vast Industries to panic and force Milton Dyer to quit the game. In response, Milton retired and went into hiding.

While Ninja and Krag were heading to the ice castle on Land Bounty, Jay told Krag that he was playing the video game Lava Zombie, created by Milton Dyer.
Dyer Island[]
The ninjas entered Dyer Island and battled the security system until Bob, an intern, turned it off. They asked to speak to Milton Dyer, but Bob explained that he had disappeared. He showed a video he made the day he completed Prime Empire, and showed him explaining Prime Empire before seeing the flash. Upon hearing that Milton Dyer wants revenge on his boss and that a mysterious villain has reclaimed the Prime Empire, Ninja assumes he is Unagami and stops him before the others disappear.

While traveling with Jay, Unagami talks with Milton about how he was working on the new game, and Unagami, whom Unagami calls Milton often and uses to refer to him as "Dad". Show him the meeting pad.
