Freyja Wion is one of the deuteragonists of Macross Delta, she's the partner and friend of Hayate Immelman.
Born in the Windermere Kingdom on the edge of the galaxy, she was fleeing from an arranged marriage and joined the Walküre. Walküre's theme color is red, and their catchphrase is "Music is energy!".
Appearance[]
Freyja has short, voluminous peach-colored hair with bright yellow highlights and green eyes. Her rune is a heart, a common feature among many women living in Windermere.
Before leaving Windermere, Freyja's usual attire was a simple country dress with a red hood. Her basic outfit as a member of Walküre is mostly red, even though their theme color is yellow. While living in Laguna, she adopted a variety of casual styles, some of which she used in her performance lessons. While preparing for live shows, she usually wears either the standard uniform dress or a holographic skin suit, just like the others.
Personality[]
Freyja has a cheerful personality and loves singing and going for walks. She says that singing makes her feel alive, which is evident from the way her runes sparkle. As Kaname says, Freyja is the type of person who only does well when she takes big risks.
Because she grew up in a small village, Freyja has a bit of country slang in her speech, such as "Ap'ju" and "Fank you." She also has a habit of shouting "gori-gori!" when she's happy, surprised, excited, or in a life-or-death situation.
