SF6 WT Avatar

The Avatar, also known as the Fighter, is a custom fighting game character from the Street Fighter series and the protagonist of Street Fighter 6's World Tour mode.

Appearance[]

By default, the avatar's appearance, primarily seen in World Tour gameplay trailers, is that of a young black man with a similar hairstyle to Sean, wearing red gloves and sneakers, and both white training pants and a blue training jacket.

However, the avatar's appearance, gender, voice, and clothing can be changed by the player's choices. When a player first begins the World Tour gameplay, the avatar begins by wearing his training uniform, which consists of yellow gloves, a white jersey, and orange training pants.

Personality[]

The avatar's personality is also determined to some extent by the player's choices, but the avatar's story personality is mostly consistent. They are fearless, brash, and eager to develop and test their powers. They may also intervene to defend or save others. It has been noted by her other NPCs that the Avatar refuses to give up or take no for an answer, and does not think before acting, but remains kind, caring, and eager to learn. They also show obvious disdain when asked or forced to commit immoral acts by others, to the point that Thrasher Damnd sought other means to ensure their compliance. Manon and Juri also feel that the Avatar is quite naive and easy to seduce and deceive.

World Tour[]

Avatar begins in Metro City as a complete novice fighter with no formal training but enough potential to copy Luke's basic style. Shortly after beginning their training, they met Bosch, another of Luke's students, and a close relationship quickly formed despite a lively first meeting that ended in a draw. Luke assigns the two to explore Metro City, challenge various people to gain first-hand combat experience, and search for other masters to train with.

Things take a turn when Bosch, impatient and eager to get stronger quickly, intervenes in an interaction between the Mad Gear Gang and another, then-unknown organization. Bosch suddenly goes missing with his bag stolen, and Eliza pressures the Avatar to get it back. Meanwhile, Avatar only wants to find Bosch for his own safety and comes into conflict with Thrasher Damnd. The Avatar briefly catches up with Bosch in England, but both are defeated by Juri Han, who nearly kills the Avatar, but Bosch interrupts, saying that the Avatar is not involved, and offers no resistance in exchange for the Avatar's safety. However, before leaving, Bosch gives Avatar a strange computer drive.

From there, the Avatar searches for clues to Bosch's whereabouts with the help of Li-Fen, who was previously used to doing this kind of work for Chun-Li. Her information puts the Avatar in contact with a person known only by the alias "Asterisk", who gives the Avatar enough information about Bosch and the person behind his disappearance, during which the Avatar completes various missions for them. Along the way, Avatar also participates in the Novice Cup tournament in Metro City, where he meets two extremely powerful fighters named Kalima and Rewancha, but is interrupted by a bomb threat. Thrasher Damnd also attempted to kidnap Li-Fen in order to force the Avatar to perform a Mad Gear mission, but relented after being defeated.

Eventually, the path leads the Avatar to Old Nayshall, where Bosch is a member of a local resistance movement against a mysterious force that uses its psycho powers to exploit the country and its people for nefarious purposes becomes clear. The Resistance tasks the Avatar with several secret goals, but their plans are repeatedly thwarted by mysterious box-headed assailants infused with psycho powers. This attacker is notoriously known as the "cardboard fighter" and attacks other competitors in the tournament. After gaining the trust of the Resistance, the Avatar is informed of another tournament in which he will have the opportunity to serve as a representative of Metro City. To ensure this, the Avatar seeks out the Damned again, where the two form an alliance, with the Avatar appearing representing both Metro City and the Mad Gear gang. During this time, the Avatar also meets Bosch's sister Yua, who is concerned about his brother's safety.

After the qualifying rounds, the ceremony is interrupted by "Cardboard Combatants". The Avatar reaches out to shake his hand, but the cardboard fighter blows it away and leaves. Back in Metro City, Avatar receives a text message mentioning the beginning of the story, where Bosch and Avatar ate pizza at Beat Square. Following SiRN's induction to the roof of his building, the avatar encounters a box-headed fighter and he eventually attacks each other at the same time, causing a box to fall from the unmasked fighter's head. knock it down. The "cardboard combatant" is revealed to be none other than Bosch himself. He then revealed that he and the Resistance had been trying to sabotage various tournaments that Neo Shadaloo had been using to launder money from gangs and terrorist activities. Returning to Nayshall, the Avatar meets Kalima and Rewancha and reveals that they are high-ranking members of the Resistance. They further explain that the bag that Bosch stole earlier contained that large amount of money, but the plan failed due to Juri's intervention, so Bosch became strong enough to assassinate JP, the leader of the terrorist group. states that he willingly allowed himself to succumb to the infusion of psycho powers in order to obtain .

Kalima orders the Avatar to retrieve some electronic components, and later learns that those components were meant to make a bomb and its safety pin, and were attached to the championship belt that JP would present to the winner of the tournament. revealed. The Resistance chooses not to use the safety pin and plans to allow Bosch to self-destruct along with JP. Avatar takes the pin back from Rewancha by force and attempts to reattach it to his championship belt, but is interrupted by the appearance of JP himself, who threatens Avatar to leave.

The finals will begin with fanfare and ceremony, and will include dance performances by several of Nayshall's local dancers, including Yua. The avatar fights his way through the tournament with the goal of winning and defusing the bomb before anyone gets hurt. Before the final match, Bosch comes to Avatar and warns him that the infusion of psycho powers will cause him to lose control during the match, but Avatar reassures him and temporarily brings Bosch back to his senses. After the finals, JP shows up to award the belt to the winner, but suddenly decides to allow Yua to award the belt to the winner instead, setting off a bomb that destroys Yua and the finalists. All three were definitely killed. Bosch rushes forward, snatches the bomb from Yua, runs away from the podium, and sacrifices himself so that only he dies in the explosion.

As a distraught Avatar kneels before Bosch's charred remains, JP ridicules Bosch's sacrifice as meaningless and reveals to the Avatar that in a previous meeting JP had tipped him off that something was wrong with the belt. tell. He turned and walked away, glad that Belt was able to provide him with "entertainment". The avatar attacks JP, who sighs and joins in the final battle. Upon defeat, JP asks the Avatar if he is happy and if he believes this victory will change anything. He fell to the ground laughing and declared that this made no sense at all.

In a post-credits scene, Luke speaks to the Avatar on the phone and asks if his journey is over. The Avatar shook his head and Luke told them that he thought as much as the journey to find strength never ends once it begins.
