Anakin Skywalker, also known as Darth Vader, is one of the main characters in the Star Wars franchise. He is the central antagonist of the original trilogy and the main protagonist of the prequel trilogy. He was a young slave boy who was freed by Qui-Gon Jinn when he was convinced that Anakin was the chosen one so he can make him a member of the Jedi Order. Following his success in destroying Nute Gunray's droid control ship and ending his invasion over Naboo thereby proving his worth he is indeed made a member with Obi-Wan Kenobi the former padawan of the now deceased Qui-Gon as his master.
