Akane Shinjo is one of the main protagonists and serves as the central antagonist of SSSS.GRIDMAN alongside Alexis・Kerib. She is a student with the ability to create monsters, and is also the master and unwitting minion of Alexis・Kerib and Anti.
Appearance[]
In terms of appearance, Akane's real-life self is very similar to Rikka, albeit less assumed, as confirmed in the ending and the series' video theme song. In addition to her uniform, she also wears a white scarf.
Akane's repli-compoid avatar is a young girl who is easily identified by her pale pink bob-style short hair and reddish-pink eyes. She is usually seen wearing an outfit consisting of a white button-up shirt, a purple ribbon, a dark purple jacket with pink trim and black lining, a charcoal gray skirt, light gray leggings, and black shoes. She is usually barefoot at home, wearing pink glasses with a cracked right lens, and a headset to communicate with Alexis・Kerib.

Personality[]
Akane seems to be a good girl, offering Yuta a special dog when he forgot his lunch box. But behind the surface is a mentally challenged man with antisocial tendencies who easily harbors petty grudges against people who wrong him, even if it's an accident. A person is hidden. In the first episode, the special dog she presented to Yuta gets slammed to the floor by a volleyball thrown by Sakiru Tonkawa. Akane retaliated by sending Ghoulghilas to kill Tonkawa, who had wreaked havoc on the city. This malice extended to her homeroom teacher, and after he confronted her without apologizing, she was almost killed in Devadadan.
She is also shown to be highly manipulative. She continues to pretend to be kind and gentle in her daily routine, and she only shows her true self to those who know her in advance or who have figured out the truth for themselves. This affects her manipulation tactics.
She also shows violent tendencies when irritated. For example, she kicks monitors, throws things, and breaks all computer, cell phone, and tablet screens. Alexis・Kerib has also spoken out about this, calling her "violent."
