Ruby and Molly, orphaned by the death of their mother and the unknown whereabouts of their father, are homeless, poor and have very little food to survive. Finding refuge in remote bush land, they are constantly judged and ridiculed by their community, until the town is divided on whether to despise or love Ruby after a blind boy goes missing. Through trauma from the death of her mother, Ruby experiences visions that come true. Whilst one group tries to hunt her down for stealing, another group is trying to help her, eventually leading to the location of the missing boy and an event that changes the attitude of the entire community. Through kindness, Ruby finds a home and people who care. See less
