Resistance fighters whom the Germans sought to discredit by staging their trial in February 1944 and plastering the whole country with the Red Poster, denouncing their alleged "terrorist crimes". This red poster would, on the contrary, make them legendary, thanks to a poem by Louis Aragon, set to music by Léo Ferré. See less
