However, after a run-in with the local Mafia, Mattie loses his job at a dingy diner. With no options left, Mattie decides to put his brains to the test by pulling off the heist of the century: stealing the cash register from his former workplace. Despite his intelligence, however, Mattie struggles to make his plan, as his intellect and emotional immaturity clash.
