The " Armchair Theatre" for Xmas of 1960 was commissioned by ATV for Sean Scully. A young ( 12) actor in London at the time. It was written by Michael Noonan a successful Australian writer living in London at the time ...famous for " The Patchwork Hero" Don Chaffey..a director, had been looking for a boy to do Disneys " The Prince and the Pauper" for a while...on the strength of Scullys work...he tested him and of course, such is life.
