Baker sees a photo of the girl and decides to deliver the parrot himself. He steals the bird from the cage and substitutes a brick. Arriving at the house he presents it to the girl at the height of a party. Dooley arrives later and presents the cage containing only the brick. Baker tells the hostess of Dooley's occasional fits of insanity and that the only cure for them is to hurl cold water on him. This is done on frequent occasions, but Dooley emerges triumphant and with the complete admiration of the Senator's daughter. Written by
