Gene and Billy are using their flivver on a little jaunt into the country. They make the mistake of trying to play their ukes while driving their car. The result is a crash into a tree. This knocks a pretty girl down from the tree into their arms. They are quick to become acquainted, and are so wrapped up in her that they bump into Farmer West, the girl's father. Her father gets even with them by putting them to work on the farm. They are told to try their skill at digging potatoes, milking the cow, and gathering eggs. Both are dismal failures at their new tasks. Disgusted, especially after a wild ride on a bucking cow, they hunt up their flivver to leave the place. They are astonished to find that a herd of goats has eaten all the tin off their car. Written by
