This unnamed Shogi player turned into a racer-themed Hitotsuki called Kousokuki (高速鬼 Kōsokuki, lit. High Speed Demon), possessing a Turboranger Avataro Gear, out of his desire to become stronger with shogi. He later evolves into Kousokuking (高速鬼ング Kōsokukingu).
History
At a mansion, he was in the middle of a shogi tournament against an aged veteran player, the clock is winding down as he struggles to find a winning move as he is on the verge of losing the entire game. His desire to win and get better at shogi coupled with the stress of the moment causes the student to have a nervous breakdown and he transforms into Kosoukuki.
As he attacks, the four Donbrothers all arrive, but Tsuyoshi is unsure what to do without Taro’s guidance. Shinichi tries to take command and reassures Tsuyoshi that they just fight like always and encourages everyone to have confidence. However, Kosoukuki is stronger than Shinichi and overpowers him and the other three rush in to help, only for Sononi to rush in and leap to attack Haruka in a surprise attempt to kill off another Donbrother. Suddenly, Sonoi rushes in to protect Haruka by blocking Sononi’s blades with his sword. Everyone is confused by this turn of events as Jiro observes the battle from afar, he believes his opportunity has finally come, getting undressed and changing into a costume. With that, Kosoukuki escapes.
Later at Musashino Academy, Kosoukuki attacks, turning students into shogi game pieces. Haruka and Shinichi transform and try to shoot at Kosoukuki, but he uses the power of Turboranger to speed up and avoid the gunfire. Things get worse as the Noto Generals appear and coordinate an attack, with the two Donbrothers losing. As Haruka is continuously struck by Sonoi’s blade, she pleads for Taro to return…only for her pleas to suddenly be answered by a familiar laugh and Don Momotaro making his grand entrance!
Shinichi realizes that Kaito had just used their combined Points to revive Taro. The Generals are in disbelief at witnessing the very person they killed suddenly come back from the dead. Jiro also observes this from behind a tree, surprised that the leader of the Donbrothers has returned.
Don Momotaro quickly changes into Robotaro form and swiftly defeats Kosoukuki with the Avatar Photon Slash. The generals are driven back and Kosoukuki evolves into Kosoukuking. Taro gives the order to combine and the entire team are elated to reunite with their leader to form Don Onitaijin. After Shinichi recites a haiku and everyone gets pumped for battle, the fight against Kosoukuking becomes a race as the two titans go full speed across the battlefield and clash swords, Don Onitaijin then takes to the air and uses a barrage of punches to cause Kosoukuking to spin out and crash. The fight ends as Kosoukuking is defeated by the Donbros Paradise, with the students returning to normal and a burnt out student deciding to quit Shogi club. TV STORY-Don 14: Substitute Jiro
