The Gourai Changer (ゴウライチェンジャー Gōrai Chenjā) are the transformation devices of the Gouraigers, given them by their father to defend their academy. In keeping with the Gouraigers' insect motif, Ikkou's Gorai Changer is modelled after a Rhinoceros Beetle and Isshu's after a Stag Beetle. To transform, the Goraigers call out "Jinrai Shinobi Change!" (迅雷・シノビチェンジ！ Jinrai Shinobi Chenji!) and press the button on the rear of the Changers, opening the carapace of the Changers to expose their Shinobi Medals.
At the climax of the Legend War, the Gourai Changers were made redundant when the Gouraigers sacrificed their powers with the rest of the first 34 Super Sentai to destroy the invasion force of the Space Empire Zangyack. Resurfacing as Ranger Keys, the Gouraiger powers would be used by the Gokaigers to assume their forms via the Gokai Change. Ultimately, the Gokaigers returned their borrowed powers to their rightful owners after overthrowing Zangyack.

- Unlike the Hurricane Gyros, which remain on the Ranger's suit after transformation, the Gourai Changer seems to vanish, though this is likely to accommodate for the armour that appears on the Gouraigers' forearms.
