The Bōma Beasts [Citation needed]from 16 April 2023 (UTC), or Bohmaju[1] (暴魔獣 Bōmajū, lit. "Violent Demon Beasts") are the multitude of creatures who live as members of the Hundred Boma Tribes. All Bōma possess the same demonic genetics but appear in a variety of forms with a variety of abilities. Generally they have the "Bōma" (ボーマ ) suffix after their name. The majority of them are able of speech, but this is not the same for other Bōma Beasts, like Super-Majin Bōma, Kuroko Bōma, Dragra Bōma, Seal Bōma and Dark Spider Bōma. Like the three Bōma generals in the Episode 2, after being released from its seal, a Boma Beast would announce Great Revival (大復活 Dai Fukkatsu), followed by their name.
The Boma Beasts generally worked alongside the Boma generals 20,000 years in the past during their war against humanity and the fairies. During this battle, the only way that the Boma could be stopped is by the combination of humanity's might and the magic of the fairies, which was enough to only seal away the Boma but not kill them. The Boma Beasts were sealed in a variety of places throughout Japan and beyond under the belief that they would be permanently sealed; but a reduction in fairy magic due to environmental destruction and a loss in the belief in fairies by humanity weakened the seals enough to allow for the Boma to be released in modern times. TV STORY-Ep. 2: Did You Guys See a Fairy!? The strongest of these seals is the "Great Seal" (封印 Daifūin), a massive fairy seal which holds the massive horde of the 108 Boma Beast Pack preventing them from being released simultaneously and causing utter chaos to the world; it is located on the same land used by Dr. Dazai to build his Turbo Builder base. TV STORY-Ep. 49: Beautiful Kirika TV STORY-Final Ep.: Graduation of Youth
While the Boma Beasts generally held allegience to Great Boma Emperor Lagorn, not all of the Boma Beast tribes did so with perfect accordance. Some Boma chose to instead ally with the fairies by their own free choice TV STORY-Ep. 12: The Boma Beast That Became a Star!, others tried to stay out of the war only to be punished TV STORY-Ep. 27: Girl Boma Rin, while still others held defiance to Lagorn and desired greater power for themselves only to be sealed away by the Boma themselves! TV STORY-Ep. 18: 5-Minute Transformation
When a Boma Beast is destroyed, a Boma General uses their own abilities to summon a tornado-like vortex that grants power and makes them grow into a giant that can use kaiju-like sounds, although Hell Painting Bōma and Evil God Bōma can grow into giant-size with their own power. However, some Boma Beasts, like Super-Majin Bōma, are already giant from the beginning.
