Silent Chasm (Japanese: ちんもくの たに Silent Valley) is the fifth dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. There is no chance of finding a Monster House, a Kecleon Shop, or a buried item in this dungeon.

The first initial mission requires the rescue of Jumpluff, as well as Shiftry's rescue team. At the end of the dungeon on the first visit, the player encounters Zapdos, who takes Shiftry hostage to Mt. Thunder.
