Description[]

Route 1 is a route on Melemele Island in the Alola region. There is a nearby Trainers' School. The southern part of Route 1 is titled Hau'oli Outskirts.

In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, the player obtains their first partner Pokémon here. They also engage in a Pokémon Battle against Hau, whose first partner Pokémon is the always the one with a type advantage against the player's, just like Teacher Emily at the nearby Trainers' School.
