Biography[]
Haxorus defeats Excadrill with Rock Smash.
When Iris' Excadrill reached its 99th victory, Iris got excited and challenged Drayden, saying it would be great for her to achieve her 100th win and beat a Dragon Master at the same time. Excadrill started with Metal Claw, but Haxorus was not hurt by the move. Excadrill attacked with Fury Swipes, but was bashed away by Haxorus' tail. Excadrill, per Iris' order, used Dig, but the move had little effect on Haxorus. Iris kept on pushing Excadrill, who used Drill Run, but Excadrill was easily crushed by a single Rock Smash from Haxorus.[1]
When Iris challenged Drayden in Opelucid City Gym, Drayden sent Haxorus as his first choice, while Iris sent Excadrill. Haxorus actually took more damage from Metal Claw attack, since Iris trained Excadrill well. Haxorus dodged Excadrill's Dig and attempted to defeat him with Rock Smash, but Excadrill countered the move with Focus Blast. When Iris orders Drill Run, Drayden had Haxorus use Giga Impact. Both Pokémon exchanged blows, but this caused both Excadrill and Haxorus to be defeated.[2]
