A strange silhouette. Who could it be...?
Unlike other power-ups, the Costume Mushroom is artificial. Collecting it changes the user's appearance, but otherwise, it does nothing else. Some disguises do grant special effects - for example, the trampoline disguise allows the user to bounce high into the air and also bounce others by jumping into them from below. Costume Mushrooms are banned in some areas.
