In Cars 2, Shawn can be seen during the Porto Corsa race. When Carla Veloso and Nigel Gearsley flame out blown up he kicks a can of Allinol out of anger in protest of it before the white ferrari.

Shawn is a red 1967 Alfa Romeo Duetto 1600 Spider with a black roof.

- He is named after, Cars 2 supervising animator, Shawn Krause, he also the longest serving animator who had been worked in Pixar including its first film, Toy Story.
