Possible portmanteau?[]
I see a portmanteau in the names of each pea in the pod.
- Peatrice is a portmanteau of the word "Pea" and the given name Beatrice.
- Peanelope is a portmanteau of the word "Pea" and the given name Penelope.
- And what given name is combined with the word "Pea" to result in Peaty?

- Yeah, I know you asked this almost a year ago, but I was never sure. Now I think I found the answer. Peaty is a portmanteau of the word "Pea" and the given name Pete-y. You know, a nickname for Pete/Peter, or possibly even a real given name. Peaty's gotta a portmanteau of something, and I believe it's of Petey. Thoughts? --Aaron 19:48, July 5, 2011 (UTC)
