Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus took the stage at the 2019 BET Awards tonight to perform (what else?) “Old Town Road.” There was a brief montage where Lil Nas X and Billy Ray rode horses on the BET Awards’ red carpet, and the stage was dressed up like a saloon. Watch it happen below.
Lil Nas X released his new 7 EP earlier this week. It features the original version of “Old Town Road” as well as Billy Ray’s remix. The record also includes Lil Nas’ previously-released single “Panini.” “Old Town Road” was also reinterpreted by Diplo and Chicago rapper CupcakKe (her version: “Old Town Hoe”).
