Northuldran chief: King Runeard, the dam isn't strengthening our waters! It's hurting the forest! It's cutting off the north-
Runeard: L—l—let's not discuss this here, let's meet on the fjord, have tea, find the solution.
~ King Runeard, seconds before crossing the Moral Event Horizon and starting a war with the outcomes proving how much of a pathetic pinhead he is.
We've had vicious kings, and we've had idiot kings, but I don't know if we've ever been cursed with a vicious idiot for a king!
~ Tyrion’s opinion on Joffrey Baratheon, which perfectly describes how a Pathetic Pinhead can be Pure Evil.

Despicable Dimwits that are so depraved, that they believe that being evil is as natural as breathing. While normally, a Pure Evil would have to be competent to be a Pure Evil (with many Pure Evils being downright intelligent), these villains stand out by crossing the Moral Event Horizon despite their intellectual shortcomings by other factors such as their sadism, cruelty, and the downright vileness of their actions.

There are a few ways for a PP to become PE.

  • For the Evulz - PPs who passed the Heinous Standards out of enjoyment, sadism, or other relaxing feeling (eg. Bogs Diamond, Joffrey Baratheon)
  • Xenophobia - PPs who passed the Heinous Standards out of xenophobia (eg. King Runeard)
  • Cowardice - PPs who passed the Heinous Standards in an attempt to save themselves. If these attempts backfire on them, it adds to their PP status. (eg. Sam Choksey)
  • Family Cruelty - PPs who are awful parents and/or husbands (eg. Rip Blazkowicz, Shou Tucker)
  • Lack of villains to compete with - PPs who, being the sole/one of few villains in a setting, has no one else to compete with in the Heinous Standards or out-viles the small amount of other villains, and has no redeeming qualities (eg. Alan Yates)
  • Some combination - PPs who are a combination of the above (eg. Bob Ewell is a xenophobe who is cruel to his family, and being the only villain in his story)

NOTE: Just because a PP has no redeeming qualities and holds the Heinous Standards of their series does NOT mean they qualify as they can be bog-standard at times (eg Aloysius O'Hare).
