SOG Sweet Mae

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a card I made over at the Some Odd Girl Facebook Community. The image is  Sweet Mae

I colored her with Copic Markers and the sparkle on her top is from Star Dust Stickles. I framed the image out using the Basic Pierced Ovals die and layered it above the Gilded Oval Die. These two die sets coordinate beautifully. Using the edge die in the Cutting Edge Borders 1 set, I cut the pink polka dot cs and layered it in the background above the pattern paper used for the base. I used the Basic Stitched Flags die on the top corner and also for the vellum cs cut out for the "Smile" sentiment. I added flowers from I Am Roses, small tiny rhinestones and some enamel dots for embellishments.

Mr. & Meeces

Hi it's me again! This is the card that I created for the Passionate Paper Creations & Friend's Sponsor Promo Weekend - Stampendous. I am using the stamp set Stampendous - Mr. & Meeces. Such an adorable image. I paired the image up with Creative Basic Dies - Basic Pierced Ovals and Basic Cutting Edge Border 1. The sentiment "Mr. & Meeces" is from the stamp set Stampendous - Beary Mice.

I layered the scallop border as the base, colored the image with Copic Markers, then I cut the image with the Basic Stiched Oval dies. I added some Star Dust Stickles on the flowers, as well as the bow tie and belt. Lastly, I placed black flat back pearls on the top left and added some I Am Roses flowers in various sizes.

Fairy Tea Party

Good afternoon! I finally finished coloring this image from Sweet Pea Stamps - Fairy Tea Party. Let me tell you, this had me scared and it took me a long time to complete. It may not look complicated to some, but I had to take breaks just to figure out how I was going to attack it LOL. The sample colored images definitely helped. I love character images, the simple bobble head ones hahaha. So I wanted to challenge myself and colored this image.

There's a contest using this image that ends April 8th (sorry for the late post) over on the Facebook Group: Passionate Paper Creations. If you haven't joined, don't wait. There are special discounts and awesome contests/giveaways. Lots of color tutorials and inspiration. Click on the picture below.

Here is my finished card. The image is colored with Copic Markers. I kept the overall base simple to compliment the image. I cut the cardstock and image with By DIEzynes Dies - Big Stitched/Pierced Rectangles. Other By DIEzyne Dies are Dotted Wings and Puffy Things and Stitched Flags Two for the sentiment. I accented her with the Wink of Stella Clear pen. Lastly I added tiny roses on the butterflies.

Thank you for taking a look at my card. If ever you are hesitant in choosing intricate images, don't be, you might surprise yourself and realize that it wasn't that difficult. And if all else fails, just paper piece it LOL. Have a great Monday!

Now, here is a little card I made for the weekend.

I used the image Sugar Rembrance from the Sugar and Spice Collection. I had so much fun coloring her, not your typical character image for myself but I love how she turned out. She's colored with Copic Markers and I did some accenting with the Wink of Stella Clear pen. For the background I did a wash of Distress Ink in Pumice Stone then I added some details with W1/W3/W5 Copics.

For the base of the card, I used the Side Step Card by By DIEzynes Dies. Also used the Stitched Circles for the image, love that extra detail with the stitching around the border.

So there's my card for you. I hope you come and join our group! There are fabulous prizes for this weekend. Not only that, you learn so much from all the other members in regards to coloring. Have a beautiful weekend, and See You There!
