Space Jam: A New Legacy

Space Jam: A New Legacy or Space Jam 2 is a movie that includes some Oz elements per a multi-franchise crossover. It is the sequel to 1996's Space Jam and was released on July 16th, 2021 through Warner Brothers.

The version of Oz that appears is inspired by the 1939 film as a realm that exists within a virtual simulation called the Serververse. The Wicked Witch of the West and a flying monkey appear as cameos but the actors portraying them were uncredited. Dorothy and Toto also appear, with her played by Lizzy Greene. The Wicked Witch joins other villains from different Warner Bros. properties to challenge LeBron James and the Looney Tunes to a basketball match.

The main villain Al-G Rhythm played by Don Cheadle is inspired by the Wizard as he introduces himself as a big floating head with fire. He even says "Who dares disturb the great and powerful LG?".
