Description[]
A piece of New Year's equipment that complements Albedo's kimono.
Appearance[]
A decorative arrow with a tag on the feather end.
Abilities[]
Alone the hamaya is just a regular arrow, but when combined with Albedo's New Year's equipment it gains a support effect. Albedo's black wings' abilities are directed into the hamaya, giving it a target tracking function, that improves the projectile's flight speed. No matter where a target is or tries to escape, the arrow will hit it. On the other hand, as a penalty of giving power to the arrow, Albedo's wings become restricted, making it seem like they are gone.[1]
Trivia[]
- Hamaya literally meant "demon-breaking arrow," and was a decorative arrow sold in Japan at shrines on New Year's. They were believed to ward off misfortune and good-luck charms.
