Guest Room

Non-Canon: REMINDER! This page is considered as among one of the many pure game contents found exclusive in Mass for the Dead only. It includes the new standalone characters that had a first-time appearance in the game. Meanwhile, the old characters had a different role and fate than from the main storyline in the official books. For that reason, it has no connections to the canon story materials of Overlord Light Novel series. The content that you had read here are based on the Overlord mobile game.

Guest Room (客室) is a room located on the 9th Floor of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

Background[]

The room is one of many facilities located on the 9th Floor. It serves as a place to lodge temporary guests that come to Nazarick.

Chronology[]

Mass for the Dead Arc[]

Main article: Mass for the Dead Arc

In the game, the guest room serves as a temporary home for visitors that were inadvertently brought through the Crack from the summoning experiments conducted in the Throne Room. After the subjects from whatever parallel world arrive and learn of the situation from Momonga and his aides, they are given sanctuary in Nazarick until a way can be found for them to be returned.

Later it served as a dressing room for the newly created idol group LittleMass.^[1][2]

It was used again by Shalltear Bloodfallen, Albedo, and Aura Bella Fiora for the site of their tea party. Both Shalltear and Albedo began plotting on winning Momonga's heart in their new "Trial of Love" at the "Nazarick Swimsuit Athletic Meet".^[3]

During a "general cleaning" of Nazarick before New Year's, the guest room was searched for any disturbances or signs of invasion.^[4]

And also be used a study room for Pandora's Actor and Demiurge when the former was preparing what to say at a money lecture at Casino Resort Nazarick.^[5]

A private meeting was held in the Guest Room between the protagonist, Slimeko and Shalltear. Shalltear wanted to reveal what she found after opening Peroroncino's Book and discovering a hidden stash of swimsuits, one which she believed to be a powerful item and wanted the homunculus aid in testing it's alleged power.^[6]

The room would be used as a work room for the Bard Plan. Pandora's Actor brought mountains of musical instruments from the Treasury for the participants: Lupusregina Beta, CZ2128 Delta and Narberal Gamma. After they selected the electric guitar and stand mic and formed the rock band Βγδth, the room was used as a dressing room to take breaks between venues and preparing for their next live shows.^[7]

It was also used by Albedo as an impromptu meeting place with Renner Theiere Chardelon Ryle Vaiself and Slimeko, in order to make preparations of giving the lizardmen an ice house for food preservation.^[8]

A year after the defeat of Enhela Read Gahi, the Guest Room was used as a resting area for Pandora's Actor using Momonga's form after he met with Shalltear at the Throne Room and convinced her he was the Sorcerer King. He and the protagonist reunite with Momonga at the room where the Overlord congratulated Pandora's Actor of exceeding his expectations of being his body double.^[9]

Layout & Features[]

From a glance, the room contains many furnishings. There is a fireplace and mantle above which hangs the banner of Ainz Ooal Gown. To the left there is a wardrobe, while to the right there are two chests. In the center of the room appears to be two velvet couches and a coffee table between over a green carpet. On the other hand, there is an area that seems to have facilities like a shower and bath as well as beds.

• In the Light Novel series, a guest room is never mentioned nor inferred.
• Among the guests that have stayed in the guest room are characters from the various collaboration events like Konosuba, Re:Zero, The Saga of Tanya The Evil, Date A Live, Slayers, Cautious Hero, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, and So I'm a Spider, So What?, Sasaki and Peeps.^{[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18]}
