One, we don't know that Xykon is at least 7 levels above Roy, we know that Xykon THINKS he is. Two, even of he is, that doesn't put roy at a minimum of 14 levels at the time of the comic. If Xykon is level 21 and Roy is level 10, than Xykon is 11 levels above Roy, which is at least as much as 7. Even if you take Xykon's estimate to be accurate, he still says "Seven? Eight?" so Roy can still be 13. I'm almost tempted to say that it puts roy at a MAXIMUM of level 14, but even that's not true - if Xykon is 22, then a 7 levels difference means Roy is level 15. - Your point is valid. It turns out that he is 14th level at this time as we can deduce from V’s casting a 7th level spell in #397 and Elan displaying his level in Dashing Swordsman in #392 combined with Eugene’s comment in #485. The former show they are 13th level and the latter shows that Roy was at least a level above that during the battle. So I think a better annotation would be that Xykon’s comment suggests Roy might be 14th level, a fact which is corroborated later.Knag (talk) 20:43, December 21, 2019 (UTC)
