Hitotsunagi[]
As someone who knows Japanese, what is your opinion on the meaning of "hitotsunagi"? I noticed you removed my translations, but is there anything else it could mean? Or does the JP part of the fandom have a prevalent theory? • Seelentau 愛 議 12:32, January 20, 2020 (UTC)
- But it's the only possible meanings of the Hiragana, no? Maybe I'm missing something, that's why I'm asking you^^ • Seelentau 愛 議 13:44, January 20, 2020 (UTC)

Saber of Xebec[]
Hi, I'm trying to understand exactly what Saber of Xebec refers to, if it's the name of a type of ship, the name of a single ship or the name of the old ship of the Blackbeard pirates. I managed to find the raw image of the vivre card about blackbeard here. I think I can see the kanji "サーベル オブ ジーベック" in all the profile infos of the member the crew, could you offer more insight about this? What exactly is this saber of xebec? Thank you. {{leviathan_89 | 16:23, 4 March, 2020 (UTC)}}
So it refers to a single ship? What does it make you say so? {{leviathan_89 | 00:56, 6 March, 2020 (UTC)}}
Alright, thank you. Hopefully the manga will clarify it. {{leviathan_89 | 16:19, 6 March, 2020 (UTC)}}
I need your input[]
I'm debating with SeaTerror of a possible recurring gag involving Sanji screaming Mellorine (メロリン, merorin) and the japanese onomatopoeia for falling down drunk. Oda uses the same two katakana (メロ, mero) as the first syllables for the romanji, but SeaTerror says that its just speculative. As a native resident of Japan, can we hear your input? AnonymousAnomani (talk) 12:53, May 8, 2020 (UTC)
Then can you help settle this debate here AnonymousAnomani (talk) 04:17, May 10, 2020 (UTC)
Shichibukai[]
Hello there. Could you come to Shichibukai talk page and talk some sense to people, who don't seem to understand that translating Shichibukai to "Warlord" is a terrible idea? --JouXIII (talk) 11:29, July 30, 2020 (UTC)
Haki[]
The Nine Red Scabbards do have Haki. Removal of this actually falls under vandalism.Marco (talk) 05:25, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
- This was lightly mentioned by Kaido on page 6 even though it was not fully shown. In this case I would have to note you may have unintentionally jumped the gun on this one. -Adv193 (talk) 05:41, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
I didn't add the template because I could tell he did it without realizing the whole was relevent to a degree. I am hoping that nothing major happens other then the fact that they used Haki gets returned. Marco (talk) 05:46, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
- Nothing against you, that is just a follow-up to Klobis. -Adv193 (talk) 05:57, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
You do recall in the past, that several people have attempted to stab him in the past using different weapons and all of them broke against his skin on contact. And the black lightning-like effect occurs only when Haki clashes against one another. And most of the previous edits done on the pages was done by the admin first. DevilSlayer123 (talk) 05:55, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
Aside from what I was originally trying to state to you earlier, one thing I should state which is partially in your defense, is that even though the Scabbards were not actually shown using Busoshoku Haki in this chapter, I think for the members who haven't been shown using Haki yet, it should at least be posted, since it was mentioned in that chapter at least even though it was not actually shown on-panel. That much I feel is a more neutral solution to this problem, where although they haven't been seen using it on-panel, it has been mentioned in the least. -Adv193 (talk) 07:13, August 11, 2020 (UTC)
It was mentioned in the manga that all of their blades had pierced Kaido, which was said by himself after falling down. And it was even mentioned that Haki doesn't always appear visually unless a certain amount of it is focused.DevilSlayer123 (talk) 04:31, August 12, 2020 (UTC)
It was NOT mentioned in the manga that all of their blades had pierced Kaido, which was said by himself after falling down, in the Japanese version. --Klobis (talk) 05:01, August 12, 2020 (UTC)
It was mentioned in the official manga that their blades pierced him. Why do you find it so hard to believe that all of them can use Ryuo since it's a well-known concept in Wano to the Samurai and they're at the top tier among them. There was even the usual lightning effect that happens when Haki clashes against one another. And I'm sure that none of them could attack someone known for being durable without it. DevilSlayer123 (talk) 05:11, August 12, 2020 (UTC)
- It's not I don't believe that all of them can use Ryuo. The wiki is based on what the manga shows, not what we think or believe. --Klobis (talk) 05:18, August 12, 2020 (UTC)
Kaido didn't give any exclusionary statement or use some. that means that all blades pierced him. what we think or believe is proper grammer which requires one of these two to make it not all of the blades pierced. Marco (talk) 05:20, August 12, 2020 (UTC)
Just counted open wounds on Kaido he has 8 open wounds not counting the exit wound in his hand. There are 8 of the 9 red scabbards left because of Kanjiru being a spy. between both of these we can see that ALL 8 of them pierced him, which requires them to have Ryuo. Marco (talk) 05:33, August 12, 2020 (UTC)
Kaido said to take it to the talk page for Nine Red Scabbards Marco (talk) 06:19, August 12, 2020 (UTC)
Tongari Animation[]
Hi Klobis. Why did you change the name of the animation? You gave it the event name (トレジャーハンティング トンガリ島の大冒険), which is not correct. It should be (トンガリ島の大秘宝), which is the name of the animation. Technically, the page should be named "The Great Treasure of Tongari Island". Did you change it because of the image we used, or do you have a different source than this one? Montblanc Noland :: Talk 10:46, September 14, 2020 (UTC)
Hello, I also couldn't find a Japanese source for the name. I don't want to argue over this, but I am still curious where those secondary sources got the name. I'll keep investigating, but if I don't come up with anything else, I will move the summary and character order to the Tokyo One Piece Tower page. Does that sound good to you? Montblanc Noland :: Talk 02:36, September 18, 2020 (UTC)
Found it. It was named in the animation itself, on the title slide [1]. If the translation looks correct to you (i.e. The Great Treasure of Tongari Island), I'll move the page. Montblanc Noland :: Talk 02:59, September 18, 2020 (UTC)
World Seeker Character Name[]
Hey Klobis, I have a question regarding the name of a boss character in World Seeker. In Japanese his name is こじ開けのマイスタ, which the official game translation spells "Master Lockpick", though that doesn't seem to be fully accurate; how would you spell his name in English? Thanks, Kaido King of the Beasts (talk) 18:57, 12 February 2021 (UTC)

How come you're against Kouzuki being used but not Luffy-tarou and Izou? Meshack (talk) 02:55, 17 August 2021 (UTC)

Game Guides[]
Erm - good evening! I came across your entries in Blyue's Talk page, and was very intrigued by the fact that you have the actual strategy guide for Round the Land! As someone in the slow process of filling in the various video game articles (alongside Noland), I would very much like to know whether you still have it, and whether you'd be willing to share various other details within it!
Would you perhaps be open to talking on Discord? I'm mirrorfalls#0816 there. RubberLotus (talk) 03:52, 28 January 2023 (UTC)

Hyougoro, Kouzuki, and Asyuradouji Romanizations[]
I've recently proposed changing the romanizations of Hyogoro (proposal), the Kozuki Family (proposal), and Ashura Doji (proposal) and found a forum where you argued against using "Kouzuki". If you're willing, I'd like to hear your opinion on these proposed romanizations, as well as an expansion on your argument from that forum. Thanks! Walrsu (talk) 04:35, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
Please continue to respond to those discussions. Leaving with a generic "I disagree" doesn't particularly help with reaching a conclusion. Walrsu (talk) 07:33, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
