Not second mate[]
Infobox kanji explains the mistranslation.
Okay, I saw Pearl was written down as [[Second Mate]]. That is a mistranslation, VIZ or otherwise. Here's a RAW image from Chapter 54 of Volume 7, specifically page 14. The kanji reads as "Second Unit Commander" (第2部隊 隊長, Dainibutai Taichō?). Yatanogarasu 23:40, April 5, 2011 (UTC)

Since private emails aren't verifiable, I'd be hesitant to list it as a source - is it planned to be brought up in a future episode? If so it would probably make more sense to wait for that, so there's something to link back to.
It seems the best solution for now would be not to list any VA for Pearl, until we have something to cite. There's no reliable source for Dan Green either, so treating it as an unknown portrayal is the safest option in the meantime. Walrsu (talk) 00:55, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
Whatever you think is best. We will have an episode with voice director Chris Collet air in a few months where we talk about it but he didn't remember/figure out until today when he emailed me. If the credit ever gets added to a reputable site (like BTVA) then it would be possible to add it here directly from that. Otherwise potentially when the episode comes out.
