Name[]
The title of this article and any mentions of Funimation on the Wiki should be written as "Funimation" and not "FUNimation". They changed the stylization of their name in 2011, and as far as I can tell they exclusively write it as Funimation now. DewClamChum (talk) 23:23, 20 January 2021 (UTC)
Move to "Crunchyroll LLC"[]
Am I alright to move this page to Crunchyroll, LLC? The Funimation brand is now officially out of use with the streaming service's closure, and both the home media releases and the dub itself have been Crunchyroll branded for almost two years at this point. LostTL (talk) 15:27, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
I think it would be better for the wiki to keep the page named Funimation due to the long history with the series. The post Crunchyroll merger/rebrand can be spun off into another page. Dragonus Nesha (talk) 17:54, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
What information would you include in an article about post-2023 Crunchyroll? For One Piece nothing really changed, other than some logos and the app you use to stream the series. I know that most of the article focuses on them in their Funimation days, but it's unhelpful for the title to be the old name when they're still actively working on the series. Plus, as time goes on new fans will be less and less likely to recognize the name Funimation. LostTL (talk) 01:05, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
